The Outward Self Serve Platform is a revolutionary new hardware and software system that completely transforms the way retailers and manufacturers in the Home Furnishings Industry create, edit, and manage product imagery and associated content. This platform will be providing tools for customers to control their own content creation, we thereby reduce barriers to 3D adoption, empower brands to own their merchandising strategy, and encourage balanced competition amongst players in the home retail industry, big and small.

Research Storyline

This project was an entirely last minute request from Business Development team to create story illustrations to outline the Self Serve Flow. Since I was given very little time, it was important that I outline all the illustrations that I needed to create. I went to the whiteboard to do some storyboarding to identify the visual style and concepts that needed to be addressed.

Isometric Vector Illustrations

After our white board session, I researched some recent trends in visual design and isometric illustrations seemed to me growing in popularity. Though I have never done isometric illustrations myself, I had to familiarize myself with the styling and the approach.

These illustrations went through many iterations after being reviewed by our team and upper management as well as whenever we make updates to the hardware.

These are some animated gifs that I created for our commercial video and demo presentation deck! Below are some posters from one of our earliest Rig Demos; however, our rig has evolved since then.
